We had an amazing summer of weddings, weddings and more weddings which transitioned immediately into the homecoming season so needless to say we have been very busy bees!!!  Here are some pictures from weddings we did this summer...

My beautiful bride Allie actually came in just 2 weeks before her wedding to order her Bridal and Bridesmaid's bouquets which we were able to pull off without a hitch!  Coral is a beautiful color (I should know my toes have been various shades of it all summer ;) but it is very hard to translate into flowers as there are so many different shades ranging from super pink to red to orange.  This wedding was also very interesting as the Bride and her Mom ordered the Bridal Party Flowers from us but the Groom's Mom ordered the Bouts from Countryside Florist in Issaquah.  Fortunately for them we were able to coordinate together to make sure everything came out perfectly!

Another big beautiful (and hot!) wedding from this summer was held at Craven Farms in Snohomish, WA.  Our Bride Mary Catherine planned a lush country wedding in shades of white with hints of soft pink.  She had us do a mock Bridal bouquet and Centerpiece a month before the wedding and at that time decided to go from accents of peach to the soft pink.  She had a total of 28 centerpieces, 4 other arrangements, 8 bridesmaid's bouquets, Bridal and toss bouquets, flower girl halos, numerous corsages and bouts, and we had to make a 30' garland of silver dollar eucalyptus and pitta negra!  We still have yet to receive the professional pictures but I snapped a few of the flowers when they came in, when they were made in the full cooler and on site to share...

Another beautiful wedding from this summer was held at Woodhouse Wine Estates in Woodinville, WA.  Our Bride Allison wanted a lush garden theme in deep shades of purples, lavenders and burgundy with lots of greenery.  A few summers ago I had the pleasure of creating her sister Jessica's wedding flowers so Allison gave me free creative reign as to flower types as long as they were in her color palette.  We used dahlias, red hanging amaranthus, lavender, stock, burgundy astillbe and a variety of purple roses.  She chose to have a cascading bridal bouquet for her and a more traditional hand tied bouquet for her bridesmaid (also her sister :)  and opted to only have boutonnieres for just the groom and groomsman.  It turned out gorgeous and she was thrilled!

The last large wedding of the Summer was held at The Seattle Aquarium.  My Bride Eberlin was a delight to work with.  She spent a very large amount of time collecting wonderful items to incorporate into her mountain to sea themed wedding.  She purchased metal mason jar stands which we placed in large floral rings and accented the mason jars with small arrangements on top.  She also got hundreds of strands of tiny led lights that resembled fireflies to put inside the mason jars as well as in her bouquet and in the head table centerpiece.  In the summer of mason jars and babies breath this was definitely the most unique, creative and stylish way I have seen them used.  She also purchased 5', 7' and 9' metal led trees from restoration hardware to go throughout the reception area.  For the aisle we used cut wood rounds as a base for the same mason jars with stands minus the floral rings which really carried the theme throughout.

The next pictures are random pictures from various weddings over the summer.  Hopefully I will start seeing more of the professional pictures in the next few months and I will be sure to share them as I get them!

The arbor at Hidden Meadows in Snohomish, WA all decked out in white.  This extends down the sides and took a lot of time and skill to execute.  My bride's inspiration was the ceremony scene in twilight which of course she realized was a bit out of her budget and way out of season but we emulated the theme quite nicely and stayed within her budget.
The night before the Seahawks pre-season opener we got to do a Seahawks themed wedding at The Everett Yacht club.

This bouquet is from a small wedding held in Plain, Wa at a private Estate.  The bride was head over heels for green hanging amaranthus, babies breath, garden roses and football mums!

This bouquet is actually designed in a holder to show off the amazing blooms of oriental lilies.  This is a new variety of lily in a soft peachy yellow.  It smelled amazing and the Bride's Mom recently stopped in to tell me it lasted a full 2 plus weeks!

This is one of the last weddings of the Season held at Carleton Farms In Lake Stevens, WA.  The bride chose traditional fall colors with flame mini callas, circus roses, red and yellow roses and accents of local yarrow.  The first picture is during the making of and the 2nd picture is the finished bouquets!

I hope you had an amazing summer, we certainly did!!!
